Eminent domain -- damages to farm from laying out cartway. This action involves the question as to the amount of damages to be paid by a township for a cartway through a landowner's farm. After an award by the township an appeal was taken to the district court and the question tried to a jury, which awarded damages in excess of those allowed by the town board. A money judgment was finally entered for $1,719.26, which included $1,545 as damages, $95.02 as interest, and costs and disbursements taxed at $79.24.
